He also completed a $17.2 million Energy Savings Improvement Plan (ESIP) a year ahead of schedule and secured a $69 million bond referendum, obtaining over $21 million in state aid for critical renovations, including replacing seven school roofs and constructing gym annexes.
His visionary leadership extended to revenue generation and community development, where he led the charge in developing a state-of-the-art indoor track, field, and basketball complex, benefiting both the district and township.
In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Lewis is a 22-year member and life brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
